All styles of music have had pioneers that have defined a genre. In the world of Latin Urban Music, DJ Kazzanova has been one of the few to have led the way over the last two decades, as a cutting-edge DJ, radio personality, re-mixer, producer and artist in his own right.  In 2001, when he started the successful "El Reggaeton de NY" Radio show on New York's WCAA "Latino Mix", DJ Kazzanova exposed a listening audience to the urban sounds of Reggaeton, at the time a genre never before played on radio. Ultimately, Univision's WCAA became La Kalle 105.9 and gave DJ Kazzanova the opportunity to be a part of what became the most listened to Latin Urban Radio station in the US. His unique style became a staple of the New York urban sound, making him #1 among Latinos 18-34 years old. After conquering the Big Apple, he knew he wanted to take it nationwide and in 2005 he launched “Subelo” The first Reggaeton and Latin Urban show to be syndicated in the United States.  With over 30 Top U.S. markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Dallas, Miami, The U.S.V.I. and Puerto Rico. DJ Kazzanova's impressive resume continues to expand as a sought-after studio remixer with remixing credits to his name of top Rhymic artists as Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie", Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl", Christina Milian's "Dip It Low" featuring Voltio, Usher's "Yeah" featuring Tego Calderon and Alicia Keyes "Karma", to name a few. He has produced for major record labels, including Interscope, Universal, Def Jam, Cutting Records, and a host of others. In November of 2006, Machete Music released "DJ Kazzanova Reggaeton Mixes", the first of a series of volumes. DJ Kazzanova has always had a penchant for innovation as his approach to introduce new mixing styles indicates. On October 2009, X96.3 in New York launched and Kazzanova became one of the first radio on air-personalities to introduce a hybrid of mixes that encompassed different genres of music in a non-traditional way-segueing from EDM to Reggaeton to Hip-Hop to Tropical Music without skipping a beat. With a challenging spirit, fiery determination and inexhaustible energy, DJ Kazzanova continues to break barriers and cross boundaries as an ambassador for the hottest new music on the planet. In 2014 He was tapped by WSKQ Mega 97.9 (The most listen to Latin station in the U.S.) to join the team where he also left his mark.  When he's not on the radio airwaves or working in his studio, Kazzanova can be founds pinning for the masses in the biggest clubs, concerts and special events around the world including major cities across the U.S., Tokyo, Geneva, London, Toronto, Zurich and many cities in Latin America. He continues to release music on all digital platforms and in 2021 He launched the “DJ Kazzanova Show” a weekly specialized show about Reggaeton and Latin Urban music.
